We Need Volunteers!

We need visionaries, artists, business-minded geniuses, music-minded mavericks, we need YOU! You can volunteer an hour a week, or much More! We need funding, we need Human-power...so...read on for a list of stuff you can do...
and Thank You.

1. Promotion

We need people to get out there and get the word OUT. How?

• By getting fliers in the hands and under the eyes of music-loving folks
• By spreading the word like wild fire over the internet, (in chat rooms, bulletin boards, music sharing sites, ETC!!!)
• By getting the SDIMF Posters in high profile places ALL OVER SD County and So. Cal
• By calling, emailing and faxing every single college, FM and AM Radio station around- ESPECIALLY the Independents!!!!! and getting them excited about plugging the event on the air, supporting it in all the ways they do any big music event that happpens in town
• Let your imaginations run wild, the point is, we need 1,000s and 1,000s of folks to get crazy-excited about this Baby, and to come out in droves...Our plan is for this to be an annual event, so let's make the 1st one AMAZING!

2. Sponsorship

• We need funding. Any and all amounts will help! And we can thank each sponsor handsomely with their ads in our SD Indie Music Fest Program, on the posters, in the Press Releases, on the Web Site, etc!
• And the biggest donors can set up a booth to represent their business at the event.

• Think of any companies dealing with Music, musical equipment, internet-based companies, printing, food, clothing, recreation, media, periodicals, ETC!

3. We also need:

• Equipment, ad space, printing, food & lodging for our headliners...can anyone help with this?

4. Volunteers

• We need folks to help out with set-up, tear-down, backstage, techs, etc. on the day of the event. If you're interested, please visit our sign-up page.

5. What else?
