I had a profound experience when I saw you perform at the young women's leadership program on Saturday. I could not wait to get home and play the CD that you so generously gave me. The chills that ran up my spine when I listened to the song you suggested called Worthless, and if you think I cried a lot at the event, it pales in comparison after listening to your CD. I am heading out now to get your other CD's so I can play them for a very special young man, a man I will always consider my son in law, (although he never had the chance to marry my daughter) & my angel baby grandson's daddy, I for one am very grateful that you never listen to Mr. Penis head, because everything about you is awe inspiring, and I'm honored to have met you.
Always,
Dayna Herroz

Female vocal groups began to produce songs that mixed Doo-wop harmonies with Rhythm and Blues music. There's not a single weak track among all that work, and there's simply no question that they consistently broke new ground musically. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

Cassandra - Tuesday, July 6th, 2004 11:24 AM PDT
HI, I just want to say that I bought the CD Dear Mr Penis Head at a gig and I think it's a brilliant piece of work! great writing, great music, great message! Thank God you guys are out there saying what you want and believe in rather than being some manipulated corporate owned slave!!!! If all artists were as courageous as you we wouldn't have this scummy music business that uses artists and treats them as if they were incidental, and not the creators and cause of the whole industry.

We need to free artists from the artistic tyranny they've been led to believe they need to live under to have a career or an identity. For many artists, record companies are big banks that own them and they are slave employees. (It's not that way for all the musicians I know, some have good situations), but as far as I'm concerned, the artists should be putting themselves in such unmitigated positions of artistic integrity that the companies would have to be coming begging to the artists in competition with other companies, making it safe for artists to be signed on their own artistic terms. I have a fantasy that I turn on the radio and every song played is something that an artist wrote and played from their heart and their own true conviction - that every song is just exactly what they want to say without any censoring from "writing to please someone else" - from being manipulated creatively by some corporate guy's idea of what they think is "appropriate." Ani DiFranco has the idea. You have the idea. When enough others have the idea we will be free! Much Love, Cassandra

Fortune - Monday, July 5th, 2004 6:33 PM PDT
Danielle,
When you first began to sing I thought, beautiful voice, major
stage presence, sexy and seductive delivery. As you continued to
rivet the audience you embodied so much emotion and delivered it in
a way that I could feel the anger, the outrage, the empathy. The
range of emotion you deliver in a short time ultimately left me with
one word to encompass what I had witnessed, 'powerful'. You are so
blessed...Mr. Penis Head was simply wrong. Thanks for the
show...can't wait to see you perform again.

msannmarie - Wednesday, June 30th, 2004 7:46 PM PDT
Your music is soul touching. I can't remember the last time a song brought me to tears but there I was. Songs that touch yoiur very soul are what music is all about and you have a gift that will bring much needed love and unity to so many people. Each time you touch someone the way you touched my heart you raise the energy vibration of the whole of Gaia. For that I thank you. Blessed Be and Namaste as well as Ban gap sam ni da (korean for very nice to meet you!)Sisterfriend

DLPM... your passion & dedication to life, work, friends and fans MOVES people....don´t you give it up!! This is for you.....

And here you are Danielle…how did you do it
They offered you the cake but told them to screw it.
Where did you find the passion that´s in you now?
The freedom to say it as you know how?
How do you deal with the passed?
The conglomerate of people weakly amassed
"They got you" you think, remembering a friend
Whose empty images of life portend
Your evocative lyrics by design shake up
A population of people that need to wake up!
Defying a worthless mockery of life
"Call me sister!" you decree in strife
The Masses are behind you, they´ll see you through
Esto familia construyo a tu!
Growing old…imagining bliss
A world happy and easier than this
A life of unity where souls connect
Not one filled with disrespect
You have found this Peace, at the same time…pieces
And you drain me and move me when your soul releases
Those little vignettes of what might have been
Uttered with a clenched fist time and again.

(Mr. Minneapolis)
